Jamie stepped out into the garden, "Kyo? Kyo? Where are you?" She called softly.
It was very dark. The moon, although it had been full that night, had disappeared behind the clouds.
"Kyo? KYO! Kyo~ Ky-" Jamie stopped and cried out as she felt someone grab her from behind. She quickly turned to face the person who had grabbed her.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
She stared, "Who, who are you?"
"It is me, do you not recognize me?"
"...Uncle Murnau?" (Jamie)
"Yes my dear, how are you? I’ve come to rescue you from these demons."
"Rescue me? From Kyo you mean?" Jamie asked. She was very nervous but did not want to bring up everything she had heard about him so far, so she tried to keep the conversation neutral.
"No, from Dong Wan and Min Woo."
"Demons?" (Jamie)
"Yes, they’re dhampirs."
"What?" (Jamie)
"Half human, half vampire. Hybrids."
"I know what a dhampir is! It‘s just, that’s impossible… You’re lying to me." (Jamie)
"No, it’s true. And they’re very evil creatures, they haven’t hurt you yet have they?"
Jamie thought for a second, wondering if he was lying. She didn’t know who or what to believe anymore.
"Not a lot," she finally replied.
"Did they bite you? I’m assuming they didn’t since you didn’t even know they could."
"No, they didn’t. And I don’t believe you," Jamie said as firmly as she could, she tried not to let her fear show in her voice.
"You don’t?"
"No. Do you know a vampire named Kyo?" (Jamie)
"Yes, another annoyance..." He said coldly.
Jamie watched him, she was now more confused than ever. He said Dong Wan and Min Woo were dhampirs, and very evil. She also remembered Kyo calling them mutts, she wondered if that was what he had meant. If it was true, and they were dhampirs, then they had lied to her, so would they tell the truth about her uncle? But Kyo too, had said her uncle was evil. She was almost positive Dong Wan and Min Woo were not Kyo’s allies, so what reason would Kyo have had for saying that? Could he have just made it up so she would let him suck her blood? It was so similar to what Dong Wan had told her.
"But we’ll talk about this later. For now, please tell me have they done ANYTHING to you, in any way? Have they forced you into doing things?"
Jamie looked at him curiously, "... They did not FORCE me..."
"What, what do you mean?"
"I mean, they’ve done things to me but, I didn’t fight them. I just let them do it. Rosemarie too, there was no resistance from us." (Jamie)
He was stunned, "What things?"
Jamie looked away, seeming embarrassed, "We... We are no longer virgins."
"You’re, not?"
"No. Since the first day we arrived, many times, he has, he has had his way with me. At first I did not like it but now, I can’t get enough! All I think about is the next time he will do it," Jamie said sighing heavily as she crossed her arms over her chest and closed her eyes.
He was silent. Murnau was not going to be happy. Before he could think about this any further something flew past him.
"Get away from her!" Dong Wan yelled.
He turned and fled into the woods. He must go back and see Murnau for new instructions...

"Dong Wan," Jamie said as she faced him.
Dong Wan glared at her angrily, but not for long. He couldn’t help it, he had to smile, "So, can’t wait ‘til the next time we do it?"
Jamie started blushing, "I was testing him to see if what you said was true," she explained, sounding a little flustered.
"What did I say about him?" (Dong Wan)
"That he’s evil and got his power from Satan and is gonna sacrifice me and Rosemarie." (Jamie)
Dong Wan looked at her, totally confused, "Him? The one that just left?"
"Yes, my uncle," Jamie said giving him a strange look.
Dong Wan burst out laughing, "Your uncle? You idiot! That wasn’t your uncle, he’s Asian for god’s sake! That was Tae Hyung." (Dong Wan)
"You’re mean! I’ve never seen my uncle, and it’s dark out here, I can hardly see!" Jamie yelled.
"Oh? Still, even in the dark," Dong Wan snickered.
"Shut the hell up. Oh, and I have a question, are you a vampire?" (Jamie)
Dong Wan answered very simply, "No."
"Yes you are!" (Jamie)
"No, I’m not." (Dong Wan)
"Then, are you half vampire?" (Jamie)
Dong Wan did not respond right away, "...No..."
"Tell me the truth. What are you?" (Jamie)
"I’m human. Just like you." (Dong Wan)
Jamie looked at him distrustfully.
"You’re gonna believe some guy who lied and told you he was your uncle?" (Dong Wan)
"Kyo said something too. He said you were a mutt. So far, it seems like Kyo is the only one who’s been telling me the truth. Or at least he’s been saying things that more than one person has said." (Jamie)
"You believe Kyo? He’s evil! He’s a vampire!" (Dong Wan)
"So are you!" (Jamie)
Dong Wan glared at her, "Fine. But I’m not a vampire, I’m a dhampir. At least get it right."
"Then, it’s true?" (Jamie)
"Yes. Are you happy now?" (Dong Wan)
"Min Woo too?" (Jamie)
"Yes." (Dong Wan)
"So your eyes were glowing... And... You were sucking my blood!" (Jamie)
"No, I wasn’t SUCKING it, I was just tasting it." (Dong Wan)
Jamie started grinning, "How do I taste?"
"You’re twisted, and that isn’t what’s important right now. You told him you’re not a virgin, what are we gonna do when they find out you are?" (Dong Wan)
"Um, I didn’t think about that. Maybe they won’t find out." (Jamie)
"He’ll find out. His life depends on it, so I don’t think he’ll give up that easily." (Dong Wan)
Jamie just smiled at him, "So, you’re a, uh, what’s that word?"
"Dhampir." (Dong Wan)
She giggled, "Are you gonna suck my blood?"
"No." (Dong Wan)
"Why?" (Jamie)
"Because." (Dong Wan)
"Because why?" (Jamie)
"Because I don’t want to, that’s why!" (Dong Wan)
"Yes you do. Look," she said unbuttoning her nightgown, "I’ll let you."
"No, and stop acting so shamelessly," he said grabbing her and pulling her hands away then re-buttoning her nightgown.
"Well then, you can go back inside." (Jamie)
"No. You’re coming in. How can you even think of staying out here alone? What is wrong with you? Why are you so difficult?" (Dong Wan)
"I’m not difficult!" (Jamie)
"Yes you are, and I’m getting tired of your attitude! You’re a real pain and you’re ungrateful, no matter how much I do for you, you don’t appreciate it! You know what? Stay out here if you want to so badly. Let Kyo suck your blood, or let your uncle take you away! It’s cold out here and I’m going back inside," He snapped then stomped back to the castle.
"Dong Wan," she said softly as she watched him go inside.
She took a few steps forward, "Dong Wan! Wait!" She called then started running after him.

Rosemarie had stopped bleeding but Min Woo kept kissing her. He liked the way it felt, and also the way she tasted. He felt her tongue move into his mouth, he was so excited by this that he lost what little control he had left and his fangs came out.
As Rosemarie’s tongue slid further into his mouth it passed over his teeth.
She pulled back as she suddenly felt a sharp pain, "Ow!" She cried and put her hand to her mouth. Her tongue was bleeding again, and the blood was running out of her mouth. Min Woo drooled, then leaned back to continue kissing her. He barely got to taste her before she pushed him away.
"No, Min Woo stop, I’m bleeding. My tongue, I cut it on something," she said, looking at him strangely.
"I’m sorry, that was my fault, please kiss me," Min Woo said, and before she could protest his lips were back against hers.
"Mmm," Rosemarie moaned as she tried to make him stop. But she soon gave up and just let him kiss her. Her whole body was warm and tingly, and her pain was completely gone. It had been replaced with feelings of pleasure, she slowly closed her eyes.
"DONG WAN!!!" Jamie screamed as she burst into the room. Min Woo let go of Rosemarie and she nearly fell out of her chair. He quickly turned to Jamie, his eyes wide and his mouth open, there was blood running down his chin.
Jamie stopped and stared, "Where is he?" She demanded.
Min Woo wiped his mouth on his sleeve. He didn’t understand why Jamie didn’t seem the least bit surprised.
"I guess Rosemarie knows too," Jamie said, changing the subject for a second.
"Knows what?" Rosemarie asked.
"That they’re vampires. You 2 are covered in blood." (Jamie)
Rosemarie touched her lips, there was blood on her. Min woo turned and looked at her. She was about to ask what Jamie was talking about, but then she saw Min Woo’s fangs. He smiled sweetly at her. Her jaw dropped and she stared. She began to feel lightheaded and within a few seconds she fainted. Min woo caught her before she slid onto the floor. He sighed as he picked her up and carried her to one of the sitting rooms.
Jamie followed, "You haven’t seen Dong Wan?"
"No, what’s going on? You know we’re vampires?" (Min Woo)
"Hold on a second, why are you letting me call you a vampire? Every time I said it to Dong Wan he yelled, ‘I’m a dhampir!’ Or whatever it’s called." (Jamie)
Min Woo shrugged, "He’s neurotic. How’d you find out?"
"Uh, some guy who I thought was my uncle came and told me. Then I asked Dong Wan and eventually got him to admit it, but then he got mad at me and ran inside, so I came to find him." (Jamie)
"Oh... Well I haven’t seen him." (Min Woo)
"Damn, I better go find him," Jamie said and turned to leave.
"Wait, what’d you say about your uncle? He was here?" Min Woo asked, beginning to get upset.
"No it was some other guy, but he said he was my uncle, but he wasn’t. At least Dong Wan said he wasn’t, but I think my uncle sent him. The guy I mean." (Jamie)
Min Woo looked at her, he was very lost, "Uh... Ok... Well anyways, you really shouldn’t be wandering around here alone. Wait ‘til Rosemarie comes to, then I'll walk with you." (Min Woo)
"No that’s ok. Dong Wan said he doesn’t care what happens to me and he hopes Kyo sucks my blood." (Jamie)
"That wasn’t what I said. I said ‘let him’, not ‘I hope he does.’ If I had been hoping for that I would have just let him do it in the first place." (Dong Wan)
"Dong Wan!" Jamie cried out happily.
"Uh, what’s going on? You told her?" (Min Woo)
"You got fangs too?" Jamie asked, interrupting Min Woo. She walked toward Dong Wan, "Let me see!"
"No! Would you get the hell away from me?! Mmph! Mm- STOP!" Dong Wan yelled pulling her hands out of his mouth as she tried to see inside.
"Oh, just let me see," Jamie pleaded.
Dong Wan opened his mouth, "There, see? Nothing."
Jamie looked, "Where are they? I wanna see! Make them come out!"
"Stop your damn whining! I can’t stand this anymore, I’m going upstairs. Min Woo watch her." (Dong Wan)
"But Dong Wan!" (Min Woo)
"Ok, then don’t. Either way, I’m not. I’ve had enough of her. She’s rude and obnoxious and I want nothing more to do with her," Dong Wan said and walked out.
"How dare you?!" Jamie cried, but he did not come back. She ran out after him, "Dong Wan wait! Dong Wan!" She yelled and ran right into him as she came around the corner.
He had stopped and was facing her. He glared, "What?"
"Please don’t hate me, I’m sorry. You were right before, I have acted very ungrateful, but I’m not. I do appreciate what you’ve done for me, and from now on I’ll try to be nicer to you and listen to what you say. I’m very sorry." (Jamie)
Dong Wan’s face remained cold, she looked into his eyes hopefully. He sighed, "Fine, let’s go."
Jamie clapped her hands together happily, "Ok!" She said and followed him upstairs.

Min Woo drew his teeth back in as Rosemarie started to wake up.
She looked at him groggily, "Min Woo, where are we? What happened?"
"Um, we’re in the sitting room. Now, don’t get upset and don’t pass out again, but, I’m half vampire." (Min Woo)
Rosemarie looked at him.
"You ok?" He asked.
She nodded, trying to let what he had said, sink in. "Yes, I guess this shouldn’t surprise me," she said softly, as she pieced together everything that had happened so far. The more she thought about it, the more obvious it seemed to be and she wondered why she had not figured this out before. "So, you’re half vampire..."
"Yeah," Min Woo said, watching her carefully to make sure she was alright.
"Ok, so now what? Are you gonna suck my blood or something?" (Rosemarie)
"Uh, no. I’m not supposed to, Dong Wan says it’s socially unacceptable," Min Woo said.
Rosemarie giggled.
"But, if you want me to I will. Only a little though, not a lot." (Min Woo)
"No that’s ok, but thanks anyway." (Rosemarie)
Min Woo sighed, "Well then, would you like to go finish your dinner?"
"Yes please," Rosemarie replied, and went with Min Woo into the dining hall.

"What are you doing?" Jamie asked Dong Wan as she sat on the bed. Dong Wan had disappeared into a small separate room connected to his bedroom. He soon returned with something in his hand.
"What’s that?" She said, her eyes big and bright with curiosity.
"A key. I’m hungry, I’m going to get food," Dong Wan answered, then started back toward the door that led to the hallway.
Jamie followed, "What kind of food? Is it alive?"
"No, it’s blood. I guess since you know now, I can eat in front of you, and I’m starving. I haven’t eaten yet tonight," Dong Wan said, strolling down the hall.
Jamie was right beside him, "Are you gonna suck it out of an animal?"
"No, I have some stored downstairs," he said, sounding somewhat annoyed.
"You know, you could have some of my blood, I wouldn’t mind." (Jamie)
Dong Wan glanced over at her, "I think you would. And if you keep insisting, one of these times I might accept your offer."
"Then I guess I better keep insisting." (Jamie)
Dong Wan shook his head, "You’re unbelievable."
Jamie giggled.
They walked into the dining hall, Rosemarie and Min Woo were seated at the table.
"You hungry?" Dong Wan asked Min Woo.
"What?" (Min Woo)
"They know now, so we can eat in front of them. You hungry?" (Dong Wan)
Min Woo nodded, "Starving," he said, standing up.
"Ok, you 2 stay here. Min Woo and I will be right back in a few minutes," Dong Wan told them, as he and Min Woo walked out. Jamie reluctantly went over and sat at the table. She had wanted to go with Dong Wan, but she didn’t want to make him angry so she did as he said.
